Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: email, name, profile photo, organization and workspace details.
- Billing: processed by Stripe. We store only the Stripe customer and subscription IDs and last-four digits of the card. Full card data never touches our servers.
- Content: prompts, scripts, character images you upload, and generated videos. Stored in Cloudflare R2.
- Usage: timestamps of generation operations, credit consumption, and error diagnostics.
How we use it
- Operate the service and deliver the features you request.
- Bill, meter, and enforce plan limits.
- Debug failures and detect abuse.
- Send service emails (receipts, security alerts, feature changes).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Third parties we share with
- Stripe: payments
- Cloudflare R2: media storage + CDN
- Neon: managed Postgres
- FAL / ElevenLabs / OpenAI / Anthropic: AI inference providers. Your prompts and character images are sent to these providers for the sole purpose of generating the content you request.
- PostHog: product analytics. Collects pageviews, event usage, and identity (user and organization public IDs + email + plan). Used to understand which features matter and diagnose regressions. Not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
Retention
Content is retained while your organization is active. On account deletion, content is removed within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 7 years as required by tax law. Aggregated, de-identified usage metrics may be retained indefinitely.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data by emailing privacy@makeaivideo.ai. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection.
Children
Not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
Material changes will be emailed 7 days in advance. Contact privacy@makeaivideo.ai with questions.
