Terms of Service

1. Who we are

MakeAIVideo (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the AI short-form video generation platform available at makeaivideo.ai. By creating an account or using the service, you (“you”, “user”) agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MakeAIVideo. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian agree to these Terms on your behalf. MakeAIVideo isn’t directed at children under 13.

3. Accounts and billing

Access to MakeAIVideo requires a paid subscription. You authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing; access continues through the end of the current period.

4. Credits and fair use

Your plan includes a monthly allowance of credits consumed by generation operations (script, voice, video, composition). Credits do not roll over across billing periods. Unused credits are not refundable. Failed generation jobs caused by our pipeline are automatically refunded to your ledger.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use MakeAIVideo to generate content that is illegal, that depicts real people without consent, that infringes intellectual property rights, that is sexually explicit involving minors, that promotes violence or hate, or that attempts to defraud or mislead viewers. You are solely responsible for the content you generate and how you distribute it.

6. Content ownership

You own the videos you generate, subject to our underlying providers’ terms (FAL, ElevenLabs, OpenAI). We retain a non-exclusive license to host, process, and serve your content as needed to operate the service. We do not use your content to train models without explicit consent.

7. Third-party services

MakeAIVideo uses AI providers including but not limited to FAL, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Cloudflare. Your use of MakeAIVideo is also subject to their terms where applicable.

8. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment if you’re not satisfied. Contact support@makeaivideo.ai with your organization ID to request a refund.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Subscription fees for the current billing period are non-refundable in cases of termination for cause.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI output may be inaccurate, offensive, or fail to meet your expectations; you are responsible for reviewing output before use.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed at least 7 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
